The surface is ground, hard-chrome-plated and super finished for excellent surface quality.
The rolls are driven by an AC motor and chain-drive
2x Edge roll knives, each driven by AC Motor
The group of rolls is followed by a roller section of about 1000 mm for guiding the cast film to allow an optical inspection and final cooling of the film.
The “nip-rolls” or take-off rolls are an integrated part of the roller section consisting of two Rubber Rolls (48 mm ø). One is driven by an AC motor, while the second one is generating the press-on pressure by a weight. Speed up to 32 m/min.
The roller section is followed by the winder. This unit can work either as surface winder or as a central winder.
Before the take-off unit, the line has the possibility to get another roll film material to be laminated with the produced film during the pressure on the rubber rollers.
After on is the cutting unit where the sheet can be catted by a rolling knife vertical by continuous production.
A pneumatic cylinder is moving the complete cutting unit to the direction of the film production and back.
